Siguatepeque is called, among others things, the City of Pines. I heard someone joke and say it is the city of pines where there are no pines! Today was the 38th celebration of that festival complete with a parade in the rain. You may want to take your umbrella to watch the parade with me. It was fun to run into students and teachers from Destino as well as neighbors I knew.
